Astragalus pterocephalus merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan timur laut hingga Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Astragalus pterocephalus diperkenalkan oleh Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1880.
