Astragalus pycnocephalus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye timur hingga Iran barat laut. Nama ilmiah Astragalus pycnocephalus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer pada tahun 1843.
