Astragalus salatavicus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kaukasia timur. Nama ilmiah Astragalus salatavicus diperkenalkan oleh Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1868.
