Astragalus scopaeformis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timuran Rusia hingga Siberia barat dan Kazakhstan. Nama ilmiah Astragalus scopaeformis diperkenalkan oleh Carl Friedrich von Ledebour pada tahun 1843.
