Astragalus sheldonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sheldon's milkvetch. Nama ilmiah Astragalus sheldonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Axel Rydberg pada tahun 1956.
