Astragalus shortianus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan short's milkvetch. Nama ilmiah Astragalus shortianus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1838.
