Astragalus taschkendicus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga Afghanistan utara. Nama ilmiah Astragalus taschkendicus diperkenalkan oleh Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1880.
