Astragalus tephrodes var. chloridae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nevada hingga Arizona. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ashen milkvetch. Nama ilmiah Astragalus tephrodes var. chloridae diperkenalkan oleh Marcus Eugene Jones pada tahun 1964.
