Astragalus versicolor merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Siberia selatan hingga Mongolia utara. Nama ilmiah Astragalus versicolor diperkenalkan oleh Peter Simon von Pallas pada tahun 1800.
