Astripomoea malvacea var. involuta merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Astripomoea malvacea var. involuta diperkenalkan oleh Alfred Barton Rendle pada tahun 1958.
