Astronidium samoense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Samoa (Savai'i). Nama ilmiah Astronidium samoense diperkenalkan oleh Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1934.
