Astrotricha floccosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland timur hingga New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Astrotricha floccosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1829.
