Athrixia capensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Athrixia capensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Henry Bellenden Ker pada tahun 1823.
