Athrixia subsimplex merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Zambia. Nama ilmiah Athrixia subsimplex diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Patrick Micklethwait Brenan pada tahun 1954.
