Athroisma boranense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Athroisma boranense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Cufodontis pada tahun 1943.
