Athroostachys capitata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Athroostachys capitata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1883.
