Athyrium narthex merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Guizhou). Nama ilmiah Athyrium narthex pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Maarten Joost Maria Christenhusz pada tahun 2018.
