Atraphaxis avenia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Atraphaxis avenia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Victor Petrovič Botschantzev pada tahun 1963.
