Austromatthaea elegans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Monimiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Queensland timur laut. Nama ilmiah Austromatthaea elegans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Lyman Bradford Smith pada tahun 1969.
