Avena longiglumis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania. Nama ilmiah Avena longiglumis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Michel Charles Durieu de Maisonneuve pada tahun 1845.
