Avenella flexuosa subsp. afromontana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga RD Kongo timur. Nama ilmiah Avenella flexuosa subsp. afromontana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Edward Hubbard pada tahun 2015.
