Avenula pubescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Mongolia dan Kaukasia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan downy alpine oatgrass. Nama ilmiah Avenula pubescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Hudson pada tahun 1868.
