Axonopus chaseae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia, Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Axonopus chaseae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Alexander Black pada tahun 1963.
