Ayapana herrerae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Panama. Nama ilmiah Ayapana herrerae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Merrill King pada tahun 1994.
