Ayenia filiformis S.Watson

Ayenia filiformis merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona hingga Texas dan Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan trans-pecos ayenia. Nama ilmiah Ayenia filiformis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1889.
