Ayenia scalpellata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tengah. Nama ilmiah Ayenia scalpellata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 2018.
