Baccharis cochensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kolombia (Nariño) hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Baccharis cochensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Hans Emmo Wolfgang Hieronymus pada tahun 1895.
