Baccharis crispa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Brazil hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Baccharis crispa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1826.
