Baccharis elliptica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil (Bahia, Minas Gerais, Paraná). Nama ilmiah Baccharis elliptica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Gardner pada tahun 1848.
