Baccharis frenguellii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Paraguay hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Baccharis frenguellii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ángel Lulio Cabrera pada tahun 1970.
