Baccharis halimifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kanada bagian timur, Meksiko, Bahama, hingga Kuba. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan eastern baccharis. Nama ilmiah Baccharis halimifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
