Baccharis pulchella merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Baccharis pulchella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 1879.
