Baccharis tola merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Peru hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Baccharis tola diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1860.
