Bacopa cochlearia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Bacopa cochlearia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jacques Huber pada tahun 1937.
