Bacopa lanigera merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil. Nama ilmiah Bacopa lanigera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1891.
