Bacopa pennellii merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Pará). Nama ilmiah Bacopa pennellii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Graziela Maciel Barroso pada tahun 1974.
