Balaka tahitensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Samoa. Nama ilmiah Balaka tahitensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hermann Wendland pada tahun 1914.
