Balanites angolensis subsp. welwitschii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Zygophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Angola barat daya, Namibia barat laut, hingga Botswana utara. Nama ilmiah Balanites angolensis subsp. welwitschii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philippe Édouard Léon van Tieghem pada tahun 2001.
