Balsamorhiza hookeri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hooker's balsamroot. Nama ilmiah Balsamorhiza hookeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1840.
