Balsamorhiza macrophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat barat laut hingga Utah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cutleaf balsamroot. Nama ilmiah Balsamorhiza macrophylla diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1840.
