Bambusa mutabilis merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hainan. Nama ilmiah Bambusa mutabilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Floyd Alonzo McClure pada tahun 1940.
