Banisteriopsis megaphylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Mato Grosso, Goiás, Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Banisteriopsis megaphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adrien-Henri de Jussieu pada tahun 1982.
