Baphia buettneri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Baphia buettneri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Harms pada tahun 1897.
