Baphia leptostemma subsp. gracilipes merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria selatan hingga Gabon. Nama ilmiah Baphia leptostemma subsp. gracilipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Harms pada tahun 1985.
