Baphia massaiensis var. whitei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Angola hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Baphia massaiensis var. whitei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Kenneth Brummitt pada tahun 1985.
