Baphia pilosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Baphia pilosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1866.
