Baptorhachis foliacea merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Baptorhachis foliacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Derek Clayton pada tahun 1987.
