Barbacenia regis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia). Nama ilmiah Barbacenia regis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Lyman Bradford Smith pada tahun 1985.
