Barbacenia vandellii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Velloziaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Barbacenia vandellii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1847.
