Barringtonia samoensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lecythidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sulawesi tenggara hingga Pasifik barat. Nama ilmiah Barringtonia samoensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1845.
